Most packaging is created from a net. These nets are cut out like a die
cut. The outline of the net is called the die line. This example shows a complicated
die line because of the foldout the box has once it has been assembled.

25. Item that uses halftone dots in a creative way
This example shows how halftone dots can be used to create images. Although most photo reproduction is done in halftone dots, this image is creative because it is more abstract with the dots.
21. Poor image resolution
Resolution is an important thing when printing large images and materials. When a small image is scaled up, it can become pixelated or blurry.
19. Trimming or gluing error
Many things can go wrong with gluing. In this example the lamination did not stick to the paper and created bubbles in the finished product.
18. Spelling mistake and/or typo
This is an easy thing to miss when finalizing a piece for print. Often this happens when there is no editor, or when quickly finishing a job.
10. Saddle Stitching
Books that are held together with a stitch of thread or a wire staple through the fold are examples of saddle stitching. This can be seen in most magazines.
